今年正值Tommasi 酒莊成立120週年，更正值Vinitaly 舉行期間，Tommasi酒莊宣佈了他們的新計劃，是繼Gaja之後另一個著名酒莊落戶西西里Etna。
和Gaja不同的是新酒莊位於火山北面，葡萄園有570米高，位於Linguaglossa小鎮附近，即火山的東北面。葡萄園佔地15公頃，種有Nerello Mascale及Carricate。
Tommasi酒莊近年由Veneto的Valpolicella不斷向外擴張，在Lugana (Veneto)，Montalcino (Toscana)，Vulture (Basilicata)，Manduria (Puglia)已有酒莊。Etna的新酒莊能令到他們更完整。
